The Ripple of One Yes - Tita Angie Del Rosario’s Message of Faith, Love, and Legacy




Dear Reverend Fathers and guests, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Good evening!

“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” I’m sure you know that this quote is attributed to St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta, one of my favorite saints.

I come before you today, first, to congratulate each one of you, my dear Brevs, on your 25th Founding Anniversary! On behalf of my family, together with Mike, and our 4 children, 3 of whom are godparents to the 3 talented Manongdo children, Tantan, Chiara and Xian, I extend our sincere greetings to your humble founder, Brother Alex Manongdo and his lovely wife, Robe Anne

! Congratulations!

Alex and Chachi are two very inspired and inspiring people I so love and admire; they have done at least one GREAT THING with GREAT LOVE, that I know of, and that is to found and establish the Breviarians! I’m sure they did more, but the ripple effect of this ONE GREAT THING is astounding!

Alex and Chachi, I know and believe that God used you, and still is using you for His greater glory! May you continue to be humble and to respond with a resounding YES to God’s call to BRing EVery Soul to Him. May your tribe continue to increase!

Like many if not most of you, I belong to the half of the quotation, “I can do small things with great love.” So, when I realized a few days ago that I had a role to fulfill in this momentous event, and one that I am not so comfortable with anymore, (speaking in front of a crowd), I asked myself, what can I say? I am aware of my limitations. But, I have GREAT LOVE for GOD and I know that my better half can and will fill what’s lacking and deliver the inspiring message that God wishes for each one of you to receive, take to heart and bring to your homes tonight.

So at this point, as I stand before you touched and inspired by your youthful enthusiasm, passion and joy, let me bring to you on stage, one person I know who has done many great and small things …. Always with GREAT LOVE and for the love of Christ…… my own beloved, Michael Del Rosario! Let’s give him a warm round of applause.

The Paradox of Palm Sunday: Embracing Love through the Cross

by: Brev. Sr. Jessa Rosal Today is no ordinary day. Today, as we hold palms in our hands and gather in liturgical unity, we re-live a sacred moment—Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. The people cry out in joyous voices: “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” We celebrate this moment, but we know that this same road leads not to a royal palace, but to a place of pain.  Also, Palm Sunday is the paradox of the Christian life. A celebration of a King who reigns not from a throne, but from the Cross.  Pope Benedict XVI said it beautifully:  “If I look at the Cross, I could not but accept the fact that it is the most significant way of expressing the greatest act of a lover.”  It was love, not force, that conquered the world. It was meekness, not might, that shut down the voice of the devil. Whose Fool are You?

  "We are fools for Christ..." – 1 Corinthians 4:10 One Sunday service, we found a hate letter taped to the choir loft door as we entered. It said, “You don’t deserve to be called Breviarians.” They called us Xeroxians. Oof. We stared at it in disbelief. Not because we were deeply hurt (okay, maybe a little), but because we couldn’t believe someone was that invested in our crazy little group. Why “Xeroxians”? Because we photocopied our Midafternoon prayers. Breviaries were expensive, and we were just students. There were no digital apps yet, and we didn’t want to miss praying together before the Blessed Sacrament. We even printed 1,000 song sheets—every single Sunday —for the 5PM Mass so the congregation could join us in singing— long before PowerPoint ever entered a parish. (It was honestly a miracle how we pulled that off. God's provision at its finest!) Looking back, we should’ve laminated that letter. Framed it. Hung it in the Brev office like a batt...
